i am supposed to be slping but i was furious when i read this news online....
bus commuters had been overcharged by some $300k since the pay by distance system started in july. if i stayed in east coast GRC district, i would surely question raymond lim why should i vote for u when ur ministry screwed up? why should i renew my confidence in you? of cos, if i worked in LTA which i nearly did, i would surely say... overcharged is better than undercharged right... this wont affect my bonus or some sort of shit. maybe i should ask my dearest LTA frens... lol... seriously... when u build a system, any kind of fool would test the system with whole load of test data. 1st... it is to test the integrity of the system whereby having thousands of transactions at a go will not crash ur system. when u pass this test, u will move on to vaildate the test data tat u insert into the system. this is to test whether the formulas or programming codes are correct. therefore, any dumb blonde would be able to notice that they obviously did not do the 2nd step. such failure can only be made by 1 type of company. make it this way, if u were a private company, u would be sued till u lost ur pants or ur reputation/goodwill will be gone within mini-secs and a min later, u are fighting to survive in the industry.
as of the mistake by mindef in my prev post, it is resolved and i dont wan to go thru the details as it is a truely waste of time. in simple language, if i am a mother fucker, i can jus pay $30 or $50 to print out my call records from starhub and sue u for libel. u are accusing me of things tat i did not do and now u are questioning my character and integrity. $30 or $50 dollars is peanuts to me but it justified the value of mindef. right now, i am still waiting for my apology letter. dont make me go after u for it or else its too late to apologize... its too late.....
