a week with many happenings... first of all... my bad luck streak is still running... this time... its my NEW E71! guess wat... the NEW charger is spoilt. thats realli ultimate la... damn frustrating... my ex-E65 came with keypads tat disfunctioned at times and i seriously hope thats the end of my hp nightmare?

shocking news on fri... michael jackson had passed away. when mom on the tv in the morning, i almost couldnt believe it. well, a legend of my time is gone. well, on a better note, kids maybe be safer?

cant help but to blog abt work. its still the same shit. i'm starting to get demoralized and the law of diminishing returns had set upon me. one veri clear thing on my mind: ta shi wo i also don wan to be qs. or alternatively as wat han said, onli if our starting sal for qs is 3.5k and abv.

we were that close to finish our archi finishes yesterdae when amendents came in. how nice. and its 1 trolley filled. luckily, its a tiny roll of changes for multi-storey carpark nia compared to other LUPs. so... we made all the changes todae and jus when we were abt to finish it, another set of changes arrived. u should see han's face... his expression is sianz + wanna kill pple look . haha... well, i took pics and unfortunately they are in my new E71 and its charging. so i will post it tmr... ok... back to the main point... even though the latest changes does not affect us, it certainly affect the rest of our colleagues a big way.

this makes me ponder... so much changes and the poor deliveryman had to deliver to all contractors who tendered for this project? not only that, those pple working on it had to recaluate and cater to the changes in design + measurements? its seriously wasting hell lot of resources. now the climate change is getting out of hand and i'm down with a super duper heavy flu todae jus becos i on the aircon last night to fend the heat off... think a few yrs later from now, vegetarians will be banned. why? cos we need the plants to reduce the carbon dioxide in the air. then cindee gotta her xi bei feng le... lol... generally, i think wat han said is true? measure slowly and take ur own sweet time? cos no matter wat there will be changes? maybe thats why productivity rate is in -ve mode. haha... anybody keen to do a thesis on that? lol.

last but not least, i'm pleased with my latest purchase! E71! the wifi is fast and the loading speed met my requirements. quite professional looking and slim. but... i still have a problem and it lies with me. my thumbs are tat fat tat they took up 8 of 10 rows of the keypads? if its urgent, call me... else please be veri patient with me... haha

funni things happened during our 20th month anniversary yesterdae. i use hp, hp spoilt. dear wan to eat pancake, pancake drop. then... we took the lift together. and the damn door refuses to open! isnt it perfect? haha... but i would to express thanks to the blanga who tried to pry open the lift door. but luckily, nothing happened when we ate durians last night... hahaha...

top recommendation: durian stall at bugis! real good, yummy and delicious. simply worthed the price! location: right next to the temp dry market and hawker and accessible via underpass!

i had been visiting my blog everydae but i couldnt find anything to post. nothing much happening in office everydae and han and i already had accepted the fact that there will be no site attachments for our rest of internship? if it happens, it will be an added bonus? looking thru past posts, its all abt work work work. maybe its a preview on my posts next yr? haha...

i seriously need a new hp! my current hp is already hopeless le... its worse than a payphone i tell u... the most i can chat when i called pple is abt 30secs? then connection error will set it. on good days, there will be system error and every button u press will be deemed void unless u take out the batt. luckily, i got a free 50 dollars voucher from starhub w/o me begging them for 1! haha... tried to bargain to make it to 100 but to no avail. lol.

anyway, its not that i wan to accept new technologies but its jus dont suit me! my fingers are too fat and each time i used my sis samsung pixon, i cant help but pressed other buttons accidentally. it took me 20mins to press the correct and right buttons when i tried to call starhub cust service last night! turn out to be... the reward system is closed. total time taken: 30mins. impressive right. guess my choice now is really really limited. wanted a E71 but it costs a whopping 398. thats 1 month of my blanga pay. :(

another day of disappointment.

yesterdae, we were told to finish counting the doors n windows and thats it. then we can head to site. we were so damn happy when we handed over our stack of dimension papers la.

this morning, we were told that we could be gg to site after lunch or perhaps tmr morning. but it didnt came true afterall. another tender is coming and our help is needed once more. its like theres 1 or more than 1 tender opening every week. recession. wat recession? but this proves one thing for sure.... i will never ever be a QS! i will jus die in office. anyway, i got caught by muthi for slping in office. LOL. i thought my ears were open while i was resting my eyes. haha

hope next week will be for real?

i wan to go to site! site! site! site! we been staying at office for 3 weeks and participated in 2 tenders. and..... more to come on monday. which is not good.

me and han were jus damn demoralized. i need a breaking from reading drwings and taking measurements.

ken sent me a msg this afternoon which left me totally dumbfounded. a sec sch fren of ours had jus passed away in the afternoon. even though we were not tat close and didnt keep in touch after sec sch/poly, i felt sad to see a fren go way before her time.

if i'm not wrong, i had a rude shock when i saw her in poly during yr 3. somewhere in 2004. she used to be of average size but she became super skinny. when i asked her, she said she was recovering from some illness and will be well soon. maybe that was when she contracted this fateful disease? i'm not too sure too. i jus feel life is unfair. shes not a smoker yet she got throat cancer. i can really feel the pain and struggle one has to go thru treatment and possibly cant eat a wide range of food? somehow, i felt that i am lucky enough to eat so much and get fat.

plenty of thoughts running thru my mind. after leaving sec sch, everyone was plannning for a reunion. but it didnt went thru after so mani yrs. and now, everyone in 407 will be gathering for her wake. Rest In Peace my fren.

our work for this week i supposed. floor, wall and ceiling finishes. 4 blocks of 16 floors. my eyes already became tooty when me n han measured the floor finishes of 3 types of hdb flats.
