my colleagues celebrated my bdae with me today and i realli appreciate that my hq boss came down for the post sports day buffet lunch @ sakura and surprise me with a cake! and i feel quite shy (for the 1st time) n paisei to see my 3 bosses sing me a birthday song. lolol
nw back to serious stuff... for the past few weeks/months, i took everything tat SAF threw to me in my stride. i did not make any comments via my blog but nw, i would like to disclose this issue to everyone. IS SAF REALLY DOING THEIR JOB?!?! if they are not, they are not doing their scope of work with their due diligence. and to think that our prime minister discussed the productivity issue in front of the national tv during national day rally? i think it will be a national joke to see him eating his own words.
i am medically certified by xray and MRI that my knees are indeed degenerating and i went back to my unit on 7 sep 2pm to endorse my medical certs. and the MO gave me excuse letter for IPPT & RT + pending medical board for temporary downgrade in view for permanent downgrade. and i received a letter from Mindef stating such events. however, a few days later, i received a charge letter from army stating tat i faced a charge "neglecting to perform a lawful duty" whereby i did not complete my RT/IPPT. i think they should be the one who should be charged? who is the one who neglect to perform their duties with their due diligence!?!?!
indeed, their system was apparently not updated when i called SAF hotline on 1 oct. it shows i am still PES A, the fittest living creature in SAF but the medical system back in my unit shows i am C2L2? my unit came back to me on 4 oct 11.37 am with an updated system but i am advised to answer the charge as my medical excuse did not exceed 6 months or my MC did not exceed 3 months. what kind of rule is this? u are jus setting a barrier to dispose/fend pple off. all my documents are reflected in ur system and yet i have to answer this ridiculous charge? what do u wan me to do? take a day off to answer this charge and make a presentation to the officer where anyone who understand english and is not blind, would be able to see my condition thru the system? why should i be responsible for SAF inefficiency and productivity? i gave them a grace period of 1 week to get an officer which is of sufficient rank to help me with my case and since the deadline is up today, i went ahead performing duties as a law abiding citizen. its sort of ironic to see the closing statement from Mindef. we wish you the best of health and look forward to your continued support of NS. i think its true... i am supporting them financially when i turn up to pay the fine on the 8 NOV.
lastly, i find it a joke that i should show the charge letter to my employer if they refuse to release me? if i really show this letter, give me a honest and objective answer... would u trust the contents of the letter written by the gov? or u choose to believe my case? by the way, my boss is from hk and he dont knw nuts on how cock up our army is. i did watever i could... go thru the chain of command and i took note on the date and evidence as i am prepared for a fight of my life. i give and take in life but this does not imply i am a pushover.
